Reading time: 2 minutes

Last week, we told you about the Pride of Prattville’s trip to Philadelphia to celebrate America 250.
But the trip did not go as expected as the city was forced to cancel its parades due to overwhelming heat. It was set up to be a disappointing vacation for the high school marching band.
However, another once-in-a-lifetime opportunity came together for the high school students.
Pride of Prattville on FOX’s World Cup pregame coverage
The Prattville High School marching band was invited to join the coverage in Philadelphia ahead of the France-Paraguay match in the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup.
When the Fourth of July broadcast started at 11AM local time, it was the Prattville band playing music to welcome a national audience to the World Cup pregame show.
The band stuck it out in the heat, playing before two segments during the show. You can watch them both below.
