New sports bar with golf simulator under construction in Wetumpka
Reading time: 2 minutes
Construction is officially underway for a brand-new dining and entertainment option in Wetumpka. The popular GOAT Bar & Grill and Legendary Golf Simulator are set to join the growing lineup at River Town Center off Highway 14.
At the site, vertical steel framing is quickly taking shape against the skyline, backed by heavy machinery and fresh groundwork paving the way for the new project.
Paragon Construction & Development of Montgomery serves as the contractor bringing this project to life. An estimated completion timeline has not yet been publicly announced.
GOAT Bar & Grill coming to River Town Center
This latest development already features Tractor Supply Co. and a recently opened Guthrie’s Chicken Fingers, turning the area off into a thriving commercial hub.
Once finished, the new Wetumpka sports bar will mirror the design shown in site renderings, matching the architecture of the GOAT Bar & Grill location in Pike Road, which opened over the summer, alongside the one in Prattville. This marks the local brand’s third spot in the River Region.
What to expect at Wetumpka’s new sports bar
Guests can step into an atmosphere heavily centered around an energetic game-day vibe, complete with big TV screens showing all the major sports action.
Alongside the main dining area, the venue will feature multiple interactive golf bays and tables, as well as dedicated patio dining spaces shown in the renderings for guests who prefer to enjoy their meals in the open air.
Just like the other locations, patrons in Wetumpka can expect a diverse menu featuring:
- Flavor-packed chicken wings
- Gourmet burgers
- Signature cocktails
- Prime steaks
We’ll keep you updated and let you know as soon as opening details and dates are announced!
