New retail development coming to Eastchase in Montgomery

A major new commercial development is underway at Eastchase, bringing new retail stores and restaurants to Montgomery’s busiest shopping and dining hub.
New commercial hub coming to east Montgomery
Parkway Place, a new commercial development in east Montgomery, will soon house four unannounced businesses. The project is led by John Mottram of local firm J.J. Mottram Company Commercial Real Estate.
Location + when it’s expected to open in east Montgomery
Parkway Place will sit adjacent to Academy Sports & Outdoors, directly across the street from a soon-to-open Cook Out restaurant.
To manage access and improve traffic flow into the site, crews are extending the intersection at Boyd-Cooper Parkway and Eastchase Parkway. Groundbreaking begins this week, with the first phase targeted for completion by summer 2027.
