New Cook Out in Montgomery: Construction progress, location + what to expect
Reading time: 2 minutes

The fast food wars are continuing to heat up in Eastchase as construction nears completion on Montgomeryâs second Cook Out location.
Crews have been working hard at the site over the past several months, and fresh signage for the popular fast food chain went up in recent days. While no official opening date has been announced yet, exterior structural work is mostly complete, and workers are currently putting the finishing touches on the interior before paving the parking lot.
Where is the new Cook Out opening in Montgomery?

Located at 8859 Eastchase Parkway, the new spot sits right in the heart of a bustling retail corridor between Taco Bell and Guthrieâs.
While the new restaurant joins a crowded field of immediate fast-food competitors, Cook Out stands out from the pack by offering 40+ thick milkshake flavors, charcoal-grilled burgers, pulled pork BBQ and operating hours that stretch far later into the night than most nearby options.
Hereâs what makes the Eastchase location different

Montgomeryâs original Cook Out location on Zelda Road opened back in 2019 as a drive-thru and walk-up window model. However, Eastchase visitors are getting a different setup:
- Indoor Dining Room: Unlike the Zelda Road spot, this new location will feature a full indoor dining room so guests can sit down to eat or order to-go inside.
- Double Drive-Thru: Designed for high-volume convenience, a double drive-thru lane will help keep late-night lines moving quickly.
