New Microtel Inn & Suites planned for Hope Hull
Reading time: 2 minutes

Plans are advancing to bring a new Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham to Hope Hull in south Montgomery County.
A public hearing for the project was held before the Montgomery City Planning Commission on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, where a representative detailed specs for the property.
The development is proposed for 7613 Walden Ct., located right behind Starbucks and adjacent to Fresenius Kidney Care, off Exit 164 on Interstate 65. Plans call for a four-story, 9,500-square-foot building with 83 hotel rooms.
While the public hearing required no action from the commissioners, planners did have to vote on a related item for this project. The development called for combining two lots into one for the hotel. The measure passed with a 5-2 vote.
