New LivSmart Studios by Hilton planned near Hope Hull

New development plans are moving forward to bring a brand-new LivSmart Studios by Hilton extended-stay hotel to south Montgomery.

The hotel is slated to be located at 7790 Slade Plaza Blvd. That’s off Interstate 65 at Exit 164 near the Hope Hull community. This busy area includes Alabama’s massive Hyundai plant alongside several other industrial operations, retail shops, lodging, food and fuel options.

The project went before the Montgomery City Planning Commission over the summer for a public hearing. Now, the development is nearing the construction phase, with contractor bids being accepted through Friday, Oct. 2.

According to city planning documents, the structure is projected to be four stories tall and feature 104 rooms across roughly 13,000 square feet. It is being developed by ICON Lodging.

What the new extended-stay hotel offers

Designed specifically for long-stay travelers, the LivSmart Studios by Hilton brand offers a smart, apartment-style experience.

Suites come fully equipped with kitchens that include a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop, microwave and essential cookware. Additional brand features focus on everyday conveniences, such as a 24/7 fitness center, a multi-functional laundry and workspace area, complimentary grab-and-go breakfast options, a 24/7 retail market and dedicated package delivery zones.

Bringing another LivSmart Studios property to Montgomery

This project will mark the second LivSmart Studios-branded property in Montgomery. It follows RAM Hotels’ dual-branded Tru by Hilton and LivSmart Studios by Hilton project, which is currently under construction in the EastChase development.

With bidding underway, the new Slade Plaza Boulevard location brings fresh momentum to Montgomery’s commercial and hospitality sectors.
