Waffle House is returning to Prattville’s Main Street
Reading time: 2 minutes

Prattville breakfast lovers, rejoice! The iconic bright yellow and black sign is officially making a grand return to one of the city’s primary corridors, bringing those late-night cravings and morning traditions back to a familiar stretch of highway.
According to city officials, a brand-new Waffle House will soon be built at 752 East Main Street.
Here are the details on the new development.
A familiar spot on East Main Street
If you get a bit of nostalgia seeing the Waffle House sign go up here, you aren’t alone. Longtime residents might recall the chain actually had a location just a few spaces away from this new site before it closed more than a dozen years ago.
The new restaurant will take over the site of the former Max Credit Union, which relocated across the street a few years back.
Demolition starts next week

Things are moving fast on East Main Street. Construction equipment has already arrived at the site, and the city confirmed that crews will begin demolishing the old credit union building on Monday.
Once the dust clears, construction on the new restaurant will officially be underway.
Prattville’s third Waffle House location
This newest spot will mark Prattville’s third Waffle House location, making it easier than ever to get your fix of classic diner breakfast, waffles, and—of course—your hashbrowns exactly how you like them (scattered, smothered or covered, obviously).
