The4Guys, new Indian bar + restaurant, coming to Montgomery
Reading time: 3 minutes

If you’ve been craving authentic, flavor-packed Indian cuisine on the east side of town, we have some fantastic news for you. A beloved former food truck is officially upgrading to a brick-and-mortar storefront.
The4Guys Indian Bar & Restaurant is coming soon to the Atlanta Highway corridor, bringing a highly anticipated culinary upgrade to a familiar space.
If the name sounds familiar to you, it’s because the business previously operated The4Guys Kitchen as a food truck behind a gas station just down the road from its future location.
Where is The4Guys located in Montgomery?

The4Guys Indian Bar & Restaurant is coming soon to 6667 Atlanta Highway, joining a variety of local shops in the Walmart-anchored Oliver Creek Shopping Center.
The new eatery replaces the popular Wishbone Cafe, which closed earlier this year. Longtime locals will also remember that this space was originally home to Eastside Grille, which shut its doors in 2018 after a 16-year run.
Interior work is underway to fully transform the former café space into a vibrant new dining destination.
While an official opening date hasn’t been set, the team behind the restaurant has dropped some mouth-watering hints about what diners can expect. Follow the restaurant’s Facebook page or check back with Montgomery UP for an opening date announcement.
What’s on the menu at The4Guys Indian Bar & Restaurant?

The4Guys is leaning into a fusion of rich traditional plates and modern dining perks. The restaurant has teased a menu featuring:
- Hyderabadi dum biryani: A classic, slow-cooked, fragrant rice dish layered with marinated meat and spices.
- Arabic Mandi: A traditional smoky meat and rice dish popular across the Arabian Peninsula.
- Tandoori specialties: Meats and breads blasted with high heat in a traditional clay oven.
- Handcrafted cocktails: A fully stocked bar program designed to pair perfectly with bold, spicy flavors.
This new venture promises to breathe fresh life into a great retail space, giving Montgomery foodies a vibrant new spot for date nights, family dinners and weekend drinks.
