The heat is rising in the River Region, and there is no better way to escape the humidity than by spending time inside a beautifully restored historic cinema, watching some great summer movies.

Old Cloverdale’s beloved Capri Theatre, Montgomery’s only independent, non-profit cinema, is stepping up to provide an amazing mix of childhood throwbacks, nostalgia-packed sing-a-longs and budget-friendly family matinees this summer.

Whether you are looking for a cheap weekday activity with the kids or a classic throwback date night, here is what you can look forward to on the big screen when it comes to summer movies at this neighborhood landmark.
