Pike Road hosting a “Night Out on the Farm”

The Pike Road community is invited to skip the supermarket and head straight to the source on Thursday, July 16, for a “Night out on the Farm.”

This free, family-friendly event will feature farm animals, a tour of the farm, educational experiences for kids and a chance to meet the farmers who work hard every day.

A Night Out on the Farm is deigned to connect the community with local farmers and educate families about agriculture through fun, hands-on experiences.

Attendees can expect to enjoy an evening of interactive activities, including:

  • Live Animals: Meet local 4-H and junior cattlemen livestock
  • Big Machinery: get up close with farming equipment
  • Interactive Exhibits: learn about local forestry, crops, and wildlife
  • Farm Fresh Marketplace: local vendors offering fresh produce, such as honey, plants, baked goods and other agricultural related products.
