Now closed: Prattville Bojangles shuts down after short run
Reading time: 2 minutes

If you were planning to grab Cajun-seasoned fried chicken, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits and sweet tea in Prattville today, you may need to adjust your drive-thru plans.
The Bojangles location at 2305 Cobbs Ford Rd. has permanently closed after nearly two years in business. It appears the restaurant shut down for good on Monday, Sept. 14.
What happened to the Bojangles Prattville location?

The North Carolina-based fast-food restaurant opened in Dec. 2024, taking over the building that previously housed Alabama-based Milo’s Hamburgers after it closed in 2023.
Signs that Bojangles was shutting down surfaced when the building’s exterior logos and lettering were completely taken down. By late Tuesday morning, the drive-thru menu board stood as the last remaining outdoor marker at the site. Additionally, the Prattville location has already been scrubbed from the chain’s listing of Alabama locations. No official announcement regarding the closure has been made by the company as of Tuesday afternoon.
Calls made to the restaurant for comment did not receive a response. However, workers were spotted at the site on Tuesday, Sept. 15, actively cleaning out the interior of the building.
Where to find Bojangles in the River Region

Following the sudden shutdown of the Cobbs Ford Road spot, local Bojangles fans will have to drive a bit further to get their fix of fried chicken and famous Bo-Berry Biscuits.
The only remaining Bojangles restaurant in the River Region is located at 9066 Eastchase Pkwy. in Montgomery.
