NEW: Smash Mouth Foods coming to Prattville

Smash Mouth Foods, a small but wildly popular south Alabama restaurant chain, has chosen Prattville for its fifth location.
Known for its customized menu and cheeky attitude, the brand is ready to bring its signature sizzle to the River Region.
Here is what we know about the upcoming spot.
Smash Mouth Foods chooses Prattville for new location
Construction is already underway for the new restaurant. Smash Mouth Foods is taking over an endcap space in the strip center located at 2130 Cobbs Ford Rd.
The new eatery will sit right next to ASE Credit Union + Verizon, putting it smack-dab in the middle of one of Prattville’s busiest commercial corridors.
An official opening timeframe has not been set.
What’s on the Smash Mouth Foods menu?
If you haven’t visited one of their other spots in Andalusia, Greenville, Geneva or Luverne, you are in for a treat. Smash Mouth Foods is famous for its customizable approach to classic comfort food.
According to their website, they aren’t afraid to fire a few shots at the big corporate fast-food giants:
“At Smash Mouth Foods, you can truly ‘have it your way’ and we believe you will be ‘lovin’ it’ because everything really is ‘fresh never frozen’ and we actually do ‘have the meat.’ All that to say here we treat you like the individual you are. We don’t have a number 1 or a number five combo.”
Instead of combo meals, they focus on ultimate customization. Here is a look at what you can expect on the menu:
- The Crowd Favorite: Their top-selling Double Smash burgers, built exactly how you want them (bacon + a medium-fried egg, anyone?)
- Savory Bites: Buttermilk chicken tenders + wings
- Sweet Treats: Milkshakes + classic banana pudding
No matter how wild your order is, even if it’s extra jalapeños on a chicken sandwich, they have one golden rule: “We don’t judge.”
