New name: The last Goo-Goo Car Wash in Montgomery is rebranding

If you’ve driven past the last remaining Goo-Goo Car Wash on Montgomery’s east side over the past several weeks, you may have noticed some changes. The location is officially rebranding as Whistle Express Car Wash.
The three-minute express wash is located at 3621 Malcom Dr., just off Taylor Road.
Although Goo-Goo was acquired by Take 5 Car Wash years ago—which was later bought out by Charlotte, North Carolina-based Whistle Express to form the nation’s largest express network—this site kept the legacy Goo-Goo name until recently.
New car wash brand in east Montgomery
As the location completes its transformation into a Whistle Express, regular customers will see fresh branding take shape on-site. The road sign has already been temporarily blacked out and a replacement featuring the new brand is expected soon.
Goo-Goo was a true local leader of the express car wash concept, previously operating several spots across Montgomery, including sites on Atlanta Highway and Carter Hill Road. Now, with ownership shifts culminating in this final local rebrand, the Malcom Drive location is writing its next chapter.
What to expect at Whistle Express Car Wash
While the branding is changing, the location will continue to provide its usual express wash services, operating daily from 8AM-8PM. Customers visiting the east side facility will still find quick-turnaround car wash options available.
