New Mavis Tires & Brakes coming to Prattville
Reading time: 2 minutes

Construction is underway on a brand-new location for Mavis Tires & Brakes in the River Region, extending the national automotive service chain’s footprint across the Alabama River into Prattville.
The national tire and automotive repair retailer is setting up shop at 1820 East Main St. Crews are already completely clearing a section of the existing parking lot at the Prattville Shopping Center to construct the facility from the ground up. Once complete, the new auto hub will sit alongside several businesses like Dutch Bros Coffee, Club4 Fitness and a variety of other shops.
New auto care options for Prattville drivers

This latest development follows formal approval steps taken by local city leaders. The City of Prattville Planning Department held a public hearing for the development earlier this summer, opening the floor for community feedback. Contractors began bidding on the project in June, setting the stage for final site permits and allowing crews to start clearing the lot.
Mavis entered the local market a few years ago and already boasts four established auto shops in Montgomery County, including three facilities in the city of Montgomery and one serving drivers in Pike Road.
By making the move across the river into Prattville, the chain adds a convenient new stop for tire installations, brake service, oil changes and routine maintenance right along one of the area’s primary retail corridors.
