New AutoZone to open in west Montgomery
Reading time: 2 minutes
National vehicle parts retailer AutoZone is bringing a brand-new store to west Montgomery residents, adding another convenient option for local motorists who prefer handling their own maintenance and repairs.
The upcoming store will be located at 4949 Mobile Hwy. next to Wow Wings and United Staffing. It occupies the high-visibility corner space previously utilized by Family Dollar and Dollar General.
This development marks the seventh location in the capital city for the popular brand, tying its count in Montgomery with that of competitor O’Reilly Auto Parts. It sits just behind fellow retailer Advance Auto Parts, which currently operates eight locations throughout the city.

Exterior signage has already gone up, and the building prominently features the brand’s signature bright orange aesthetic. Interior shelving, checkout counters and initial merchandise stock are still being finalized as work continues behind the scenes.
