Reading time: 1 minute

Montgomery Whitewater is temporarily pausing all of its on-water operations for approximately a month.
The world-class, 120-acre outdoor adventure center near Maxwell Air Force Base is undergoing maintenance on its water filtration system, according to a Friday, April 24 post on social media.
All non-water activities will continue, including:
- Waking and bike trails
- The ropes course (make sure to book a time, but they do accept walk-ups)
- Eddy’s restaurant
- Meeting rooms and event space
- Saturday’s Nature School sessions
Located at 1100 Maxwell Boulevard just off the I-65 and I-85 interchange, there is no admission charge to visit the park.
Since its opening in July 2023, Montgomery Whitewater has hosted U.S. Olympic team trials, the U.S. Whitewater Championships and the Pan American Championships.
