Montgomery drivers: Here is what you need to know about Tuesday’s I-65 bridge repair

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) announced that crews will be performing an essential Interstate 65 bridge repair over Catoma Creek, leading to temporary lane restrictions along the highway.

What to know about the I-65 southbound lane closures in Montgomery

Beginning at approximately 9AM on Tuesday, July 28 (weather permitting), ALDOT will close the two inside lanes on I-65 South at Exit 167. This exit serves as the primary turnoff for US-80 West toward Selma as well as access to the Montgomery Regional Airport.

Crews will reopen all lanes as soon as the maintenance work is finished.
