Montgomery County is asking residents and stakeholders to weigh in on the area’s future. The county has teamed up with workforce and community consulting firm TPMA to launch a countywide survey aimed at gathering direct feedback on local strengths, everyday challenges and long-term priorities.

You can make your voice heard by completing the community survey online by Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026.

The feedback collected through this outreach effort will directly shape the goals, funding decisions and community initiatives inside Montgomery County’s next strategic plan.

The online survey is just one step in a much larger community engagement effort across the region. Over the coming weeks, the planning team will conduct targeted stakeholder interviews, host focus groups, meet with county leaders and hold an open public forum in November.

Survey results will be reviewed alongside local demographic trends, economic data and existing municipal plans to build a strategic outlook that accurately reflects what residents want to see in their neighborhoods. Whether your focus is on infrastructure, local business growth or community resources, county leaders want your input.

Montgomery County first announced the collaborative effort earlier this month, setting out to create a comprehensive five-year roadmap to guide major decisions and track progress over time. The finalized strategic plan is set to wrap up in May 2027.

If you live or work anywhere in Montgomery County, you can fill out the survey online by Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026. It only takes a few minutes to make an impact on your community’s future.
