Lucky Strike: Montgomery bowling alley adopts new name
Reading time: 2 minutes

A Montgomery bowling alley is transitioning to a new name once again.
Bowlero, a popular spot among teens and families on Eastern Boulevard, is officially rebranding to Lucky Strike. Montgomery UP spotted crews putting up the new brand on the facility and the high-rise signage Tuesday evening.
If you are a regular at this local entertainment hub, here is what you need to know about the transition.
Why Bowlero is rebranding to Lucky Strike Montgomery

The change comes after Bowlero Corp. acquired Lucky Strike Entertainment in September 2023. Following the acquisition, the corporation officially changed its corporate name to Lucky Strike Entertainment, Inc. in late 2024 and has since been systematically rebranding individual locations across the country.
According to the company’s website, Lucky Strike is now the largest ten-pin bowling center operator in the world, boasting more than 360 centers throughout the United States.
“We’re transforming the entertainment experience from the ground up. Lucky Strike brings together state-of-the-art bowling lanes, blacklight bowling, immersive lighting, and comfortable lounge seating designed for social, high-energy nights out.”

What to expect at the new Montgomery bowling alley experience

While the venue has a fresh name, it aims to deliver an even higher level of entertainment for teens, families and league bowlers alike.
According to company officials, guests can expect a bold, premium experience featuring:
- Reimagined lanes with an elevated, modern design
- Immersive entertainment, including blacklight bowling and state-of-the-art lighting
- Vibrant arcade upgrades alongside billiards, air hockey and ping-pong
- Elevated menus featuring handcrafted cocktails and lane-side service
Longtime River Region residents will know this is far from the first time this specific venue has changed its look. Over the decades, this same Eastern Boulevard facility has undergone multiple corporate buyouts and naming iterations, previously operating as Brunswick Zone, Ace Bowling Center and AMF Bowling.
