Kudzu and Cotton: Beloved boutique moving to new location in Prattville

Big changes are coming for one of Prattville’s favorite local shops! Kudzu and Cotton, a family-owned Southern lifestyle boutique, is preparing to move to a new location next month.
Operated by mother-daughter duo Chris Beazley and Katie Hollingsworth, the boutique has been a staple in the heart of downtown Prattville at 155 W Main St. since 2019. The shop is well-loved for its curated selection of women’s apparel, home decor, local craft and unique gifts.
According to a social media post from the owners, the move comes after losing the lease at their current downtown storefront. However, the team is excited to continue serving the community from their new home just across town.
Where to find the new Kudzu and Cotton storefront
Shoppers won’t have to travel far to visit the new shop. The new Kudzu and Cotton location will be at 2084 Fairview Ave. in the Pratts Mill Shopping Center, right across the street from Long-Lewis Ford. The new boutique is scheduled to open Sept. 1.
The space sits roughly 4.6 miles away from their original downtown spot, offering convenient access and ample parking for visitors across the River Region.

To make packing easier before the big transition, the owners are holding a moving sale at the original downtown shop. Shoppers can stop by to grab discounted merchandise, including two specially marked tables filled with deals on jewelry, candles, seasonal items and Christmas decorations.
