Kingdom Dough, a beloved family-owned business in Millbrook, is set to close after nearly six years of sweetening the River Region.

We recently featured Kingdom Dough for National Donut Day, so we are incredibly sad to see this local favorite close its doors.

While no official closing date has been revealed, the owners shared that June will be their last month in business. With the end of the month rapidly approaching, there are only a few days left to get your favorite morning treats.

Why this favorite River Region breakfast spot will be missed

The local shop has been popular far beyond its deliciously fresh donuts. Kingdom Dough has been a staple morning stop for residents, also serving up savory breakfast sandwiches and decorated cupcakes.

The owners shared a heartfelt message to their loyal customers on social media:

This isn’t goodbye forever. It’s simply a pause, a time to reset, refocus, and prepare for whatever the Lord has in store for us next. While this decision wasn’t easy, we know it’s the right one for our family, our health and our future. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU.”
