Jaws opening new fish, chicken + burger spot in west Montgomery
Reading time: 2 minutes

Jaws, a fast-growing chicken and seafood chain, is expanding its footprint across Montgomery with a brand-new restaurant—its latest addition to the area.
The new eatery will be located at 111 W. Fairview Ave. in west Montgomery. The spot previously housed the dual-branded restaurant Clay’s Southern Fried Chicken and Clay Seafood House, which recently closed after operating in the space for a couple of years. Longtime west Montgomery residents will recall that this location was originally built as a KFC many years ago.
What to expect from the new Jaws spot on Fairview Avenue

Known for serving up fresh, cooked-to-order meals, Jaws has quickly built a loyal following in the area. According to new signage posted at the West Fairview Avenue building, this second location in Montgomery will focus heavily on three main comfort food staples: fish, chicken and burgers.
Visual updates are already underway at the property. Exterior changes, including the Jaws logo near the drive-thru window and on the main building, have gone up over the past few days. While the main pylon sign along the road still displays the former Clay’s branding, more updates are expected soon as construction wraps up.
Jaws expands footprint across Montgomery

This newest spot on Fairview Avenue marks the second location for Jaws in the area. The chain opened its very first Montgomery restaurant, branded as Jaws Hot Chicken & Seafood, on East South Boulevard in the spring of 2024.
An official opening date for the new restaurant has not yet been announced. Of course, Montgomery Up will keep you posted with the latest updates as soon as more details are revealed!
