First Community Bank upgrading west Prattville branch with new build

Big changes are on the horizon for First Community Bank of Central Alabama’s location in west Prattville! The branch is set to get a brand-new, permanent home, bringing expanded services to local residents. Even better for loyal customers, the new bank branch will be right next door to its current temporary setup. This means minimal disruption for customers who rely on the bank’s services during the transition period.

A permanent home for First Community Bank on Hwy. 82

For a while now, the First Community Bank branch has operated out of two combined mobile trailers off 211 Hwy. 82 Bypass West. The forthcoming location will upgrade the site into a complete, full-service branch to better serve the surrounding community.

If you’ve driven through this stretch of west Prattville recently, you’ve likely noticed the new signage announcing the site as the bank’s future address. The eye-catching sign proudly showcases the local bank’s new logo to passersby. Fencing has already gone up around the perimeter and crews are expected to ramp up construction efforts very soon. Construction One, Inc., based in Montgomery, is serving as the general contractor leading the project.

An estimated completion timeline hasn’t been made public yet, but we’ll follow the progress and keep you updated right here at Montgomery UP.

Building boom spreads across west Prattville

This new First Community Bank upgrade on Hwy. 82 is just the latest sign of rapid expansion in this part of Autauga County. The west Prattville area has seen a surge in new housing additions, with several more residential developments currently under construction.

Adding to the commercial momentum, Alabama-based fast-food chain Jack’s is constructing a nearby location, marking the very first fast-food restaurant to serve this immediate area.
