Whether you’re looking for a playful puppy, a cozy cat, a playful kitten or a gentle senior dog, this is the perfect time to open your heart and home!

The final Clear the Shelters 2026 drive takes place from Aug. 28-30 at the Montgomery Humane Society, located at 1150 John Overton Dr.

Throughout the entire weekend, standard adoption fees will drop to just $25 for every single animal at the facility. Every successful adoption helps free up critical space and resources at the shelter while giving deserving pets a fresh start in a loving home.
