SUMMARY:Frye Gaillard and Cynthia Tucker with their new book\, “A Republic If You Can Keep It”
DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin us for a launch event at The NewSouth Bookstore on Sunday\, August 23 at 3pm for A Republic If You Can Keep It by two significant Southern journalists\, Frye Gaillard and Cynthia Tucker. The book powerfully critiques where our country is in the age of Trump. Gaillard and Tucker — who came of age during the civil rights years — pause to take a hard look at the ways in which our country falls short\, even as it has aspired since its founding to “a more perfect Union\,” looking at the explosive and potentially quite damaging variable represented by our current president.
