A Day of Culture, Creativity, Empowerment, and Community

Spend the day at the Community Affair exploring immersive experiences designed to inspire and connect. This 8 am – 5 pm daytime experience invites guests of all ages to engage with Montgomery’s creative energy in a vibrant, welcoming setting – and even better, it’s free! The evening will culminate in the main ticketed event, a 7 pm –11 pm signature gala where guests should arrive in their finest green-colored dandy attire.

Health + Wellness | 7 AM – 11 AM –  Alabama State University

Join GirlTrek’s invigorating 7 am – 8 am 5k run on a historic HBCU campus, followed by an expo from 8 am – 11 am featuring vendors, workshops, music, children’s activities, and a keynote presentation by a celebrity expert.

Wealth, Entrepreneurship + Tech | 11:30 AM – 2 PM –  Union Station Train Shed

Attend workshops and interact with vendors to learn how to maximize your wealth, sustain and grow your business, market your brand, utilize new technology, and more before garnering inspiration from a celebrity expert and enjoying lunch under the historic Train Shed.

Culture, Community + Civic Engagement | 3 PM – 5 PM – The King’s Canvas

Tour the transformational gallery and studio of a creative placemaking expert, learn about Montgomery’s cultural sites, enjoy performances from Alabama singers who made it to The Voice and American Idol, register to vote, and eat some delicious fare from local food trucks, all while DJ Frosty and 97.9 JAMZ broadcasts live from the location!

The Main Event: The Gala – A Fine & Dandy Affair™

From 7 PM – 11 PM in Blount Cultural Park, the celebration transforms into an elevated evening experience. Guests are encouraged to arrive in their finest green-colored dandy attire, embracing bold fashion, individuality, and timeless style. The evening will feature gourmet food experiences, live music and dancing, curated performances, and a showcase of Montgomery’s fashion and creative excellence.  Check back soon for updates regarding special guests!
