3 fantastic Montgomery summer camps your kids will love to join

Summer break is almost over, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end just yet.

There is still time for your kids to attend some summer camps before summer ends. Here are three places offering full-day summer camps for your children across Montgomery.

Summer camp at Montgomery Whitewater provides high-energy outdoor activities for kids to do. They gain experience in whitewater rafting, kayaking, and paddle boarding, giving them unforgettable summer memories.

The camp is open to ages 8–17.

Hands-on fun for young explorers in Montgomery

The summer camp is a one-of-a-kind experience designed for kids to enjoy a full-day zoo experience filled with adventure and discovery, where they can learn about wildlife, explore nature and make new friends.

Each day brings new activities, hands-on learning, and exciting encounters with animals from around the world:

  • Scavenger hunts
  • Touring the Zoo’s Vet Clinic
  • Helping keepers with animal task
  • Make + create diets for animals
  • Animal feeding sessions

Campers will also participate in games, crafts and team-building activities that foster friendship and curiosity.

  • When: Monday, July 20 – Friday, July 24, 8:30AM-4:30PM
  • Where: Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Museum, 2301 Coliseum Parkway
  • Price: $210 for Montgomery Zoo members and $230 for non-zoo members

Art, experiments + wellness: Watch your kid shine at Camp Glow

Camp Glow is a 3-day immersive Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEAM) and wellness camp with interactive activities, such as glow art and science experiments. Science, creativity and healthy living combine to make a fun experience.

  • When: Tuesday, July 28 – Friday, July 31
