There’s more to this fall race than pumpkins and costumes. The ASF Foundation is a youth mentoring program that uses sports to help Alabama kids build good habits in school, in their health and in their communities. Every registration helps local kids use sports to build confidence on and off the field.

It’s also the organization behind the Alabama State Games, an Olympic-style multi-sport event that brings athletes from across Alabama together for a weekend of competition.

The 2026 games were held in Birmingham, bringing athletes together for competitions ranging from soccer, pickleball and archery to bowling and equestrian.
